Blue Optical Power meter

This portable multi-function tester integrates an Optical Power Meter (OPM), a Visual Fault Locator (VFL), and an RJ45 Network Cable Tester into a single rechargeable unit.

Technical Specifications & Features

• 3 Main Functions:

  • Optical Power Meter (OPM): Measures optical signal levels across standard wavelengths ($850\text{ nm}, 1310\text{ nm}, 1490\text{ nm}, 1550\text{ nm}, 1625\text{ nm}$) with a measurement range of -70 dBm to +10 dBm (or -50 dBm to +26 dBm depending on model option).

  • Visual Fault Locator (VFL): Emits a visible red laser light to locate cable breaks, tight bends, or faulty connectors along fiber lines.

  • RJ45 Cable Tester: Tests wire alignment and continuity for standard Ethernet/LAN cables (pin setup 1 through 8).

• Power & Battery: Built-in rechargeable lithium battery charged via the included USB power adapter.

• Interface Ports: Standard universal optical connector interface at the top and an RJ45 port at the bottom.
